We're going to Caspers Hot Dogs on Foothill blvd. and that's that! I was in Castro Valley with my old pal Stinky Wedemeyer, we had just finished helping his friend Skeeter Plimticket realign the railway turnout on his quarter scale railroad track system. Every neighbor loves his steam engine, but hate that damn train whistle because it's the real deal, and you can hear it 3 miles away. Caspers hotdogs are about the best dogs you can get, they're the only ones I buy from the market, and when I'm down in this part of the bay area wanting a dog or two...it's Caspers!

I loved Casper’s hotdogs as a kid and 30 years later I love Casper’s hotdogs still!! The steamed dog with the “snap heard around the world” The steamed bun that is yummy and tender. The thick tomato and onion slices and mustard! OMG delicious! And thank you to karen and the team at Casper’s in Hayward CA! You brought me back to my childhood in joyous fashion!❤️❤️❤️❤️ Parking is easy Access is easy Hot dogs all day everyday

This is my second visit to Casper's this year. I was introduced to Casper's while in town with a client turned dear friend for the first time some months ago and they definitely have consistency in the bag. The same two wonderful ladies that were working the first time we came in are apparently regular fixtures of the establishment. They are fast and very courteous, the food quality is great. Casper's isn't a fancy place but it's definitely an old school down to earth hot dog spot for hot dog lovers. Nothing frilly or weird, just straightforward delicious dogs!

What can I say, delicious as always. The ladies that work there are always very sweet and endearing. Hot dogs made to order, the same great taste we have come to love and expect from Caspers. I like the cheese dog, chili dogs, and polish with sauerkraut yum.

Wait for the snap of the casing to let you know what's coming, 80% beef and 20% pork is the best. This place has been around for generations for a reason. If you want an incredible hot dog experience then this is the best place for you.

For a hot dog diner with nostalgia and best hot dogs ever, a 5 star. Every time I come back to where I grew up I have to visit. My son loves them also. We try and duplicate at home…not the same.
